Helping dad

Here are Parker and Austen, helping their dad with some extra jobs for work. They decided it would be much more fun to do this outside. Kira, of course, had to be right there, but she was coloring!

PS - Kira has now lost two baby teeth: one of the center bottom teeth and one of the center top teeth. She has a real lisp right now!

Valentine's Day in fifth grade class

Here's Parker, along with his classmates, playing black-out bingo with red, pink, and white M&Ms. A parent is calling out the Bingo numbers, while his teacher and other parents are watching from the back of the classroom. All is relatively orderly. What nice, well behaved children. (He couldn't wait for the recess after the party, though -- touch football!!)

65th Anniversary!

Tomorrow, Friday, February 9, 2007, is my parents' 65th wedding anniversary. I'm posting one of my favorite pictures of them -- on a trip we made to Yosemite sometime in the mid-1990s. They are doing very well, are healthy and independent, and play lots of golf. I feel so blessed to have them for my parents.
