I had forgotten that I set this little album up: http://pets.webshots.com/album/197897225mVukOX
My precious Indy -- what a cutie!
By the way, she hated that leash, so I didn't push it. We tried to use it while we stayed with Don for those three months before moving to Texas, but she got out of it there, too! I gave up.

Just a reminder!
I added the "loop ticker" of 38 photos of Grace, Audace, and Ruse across the top -- just to remind people to go to http://graceandkittens.blogspot.com in order to get the latest on these cats' activities. They are not tiny kittens anymore, obviously, but they are definitely fun and funny.

Normal winter weather
Thank heaven all that freezing weather has moved on. It's still cold out there, but at least not freezing and icy and all that. Now I'll find out which plants made it and which didn't -- actually, it'll probably take about a month or so to figure it out, but I already have a pretty good idea of which plants will get tossed and which will stay. I guess all those decisions will be made about the time I prune all the rose bushes and crape myrtles.

More photos of ice
My miniature rose bush looks as if it has raindrops on it, but they are frozen! I hope it survives.
Ice is lining the underside of every branch and twig of the crape myrtle tree just outside my kitchen window -- and therefore all the other crape myrtles and other trees in the yard.
This hawthorne bush has lots of little frozen drops on it, too.
The temperatures have now (10:30 am) risen just enough that all this ice is beginning to melt. Thank heaven! It's pretty and all that, but I'm ready for some non-freezing temps -- even 33 would make me happy!

Noisy New Year's Eve
A week ago tonight, there was no point in trying to go to sleep before midnight! At the end of the cul de sac that faces my front yard, there were several neighbors who were setting off wonderful, beautiful, and very noisy fireworks. It all came to a sudden halt about 12:05 a.m. on January 1, 2007! Happy New Year!!
